Poster design for KUT
When I was beginning this career back in art school, I thought designing rock posters was going to make me happy. It turns out I was right. Fresh off an assignment for a small run of posters for a KUT morning concert series during SXSW, and I am asking myself how I can get these assignments more often.

Hand lettering is magical,
and you don’t have to be obsessed with type to appreciate the skill and creativity required to pull off some really tasty script or letter forms that are so evocative, they hardly need other elements to convey their mood. It is this other, subtler layer of communication that is the secret weapon of letterers.

Liquor label production is underway
I have been wanting to design bottle labels for a long time. For me, the liquor store is like a candy aisle, and not just because of the delicious spirits and their charming affects. Walking through the aisles of wine, beer and booze is a like walking through a museum dedicated to design and typography.
